We stopped by Rascals (twice) while in town for a Packers game. I cannot say enough good things about the hospitality that we received from the owners, Jim and Karen, and the staff. Sooooo incredibly welcoming, friendly, and generous!!! Show your pride and we will support you!! Every. Single. Time.
My brother used to own the bar so we used to play cards there quite often. Was good to get back there and play sheepshead. Was good to see some familiar faces again. Nice place and friendly people.

You get out of Rascals what you put in to it. Warm, welcoming, funny, and friendly staff. If you didn't make new friends, it's because you didn't try. Jukebox is always on. It's not a library. If the music sucks, it's your own fault. Todd has always run an excellent establishment.
Very nice bar and friendly owners. While there have been many bartenders - Andrew is the most attentive which translates into awesome customer service. There have been upgrades and updates to the bar which have improved the overall experience. There are many bars in Appleton however Rascals is definitely my favorite. Edit: I enjoy coming down on Friday nights to see Doodles. The charm and camaraderie has been appreciated since I’ve been coming here for quite some time! An excellent bartender once again found in the fox valley.

Locally owned and operate gay bar with great drink specials. Staff is friendly. Food is amazing and priced right. Atmosphere is very Cheers like. Jukebox is always ready to go. Welcoming crowd of people, if you show up alone you'll have a few new friends by the end of the night. Always a good time no matter the day of the week. Great outdoor patio space to enjoy in the warmer months as well.
Wonderful atmosphere with great drink prices and a fun crowd. Considering it’s one of the only gay bars in the area, it was very welcoming, relaxed environment. The bartenders were superb and had excellent taste in music. I will definitely be returning during my next visit to the area!
